PRODUCTS - DAXfs Archiving Software - Challenge

DAX file system software (DAXfs) enables intelligent and permanent archival storage by migrating data automatically to both an on-line hard disk archive and a near-line or off-line permanent optical archive (Blu-ray Disc/DVD).

The amount of on-line hard disk storage is variable and can be matched to meet any specific application requirement. RAID technology ensures immediate on-line access and basic open-standard technology.

The permanent archive consists of a of a Blu-ray Disc/DVD device which burns and reads BDs/DVDs.  

All benefits of optical technology are maintained: WORM compliant, removable media, random access to data, cost-effective, open standard technology, and an extensive archival life span (100+ years). This way, all data is archived to permanent, non-erasable and infinitely expandable archives.
